Please contact Treasure Coast Piercing for further questions or concerns.
Here at Treasure Coast Piercing, we follow all state and county laws requiring proper identification prior to receiving services.
Below, you will find the required documentation for piercing minors.
**Please note that these are required by law, and not solely the policy of Treasure Coast Piercing**
- A State or Federally issued Photo Identification (Driver's License, State Photo ID, Passport) is required for any and all Piercing Services. In situations where the client is a minor, a parent or legal guardian MUST be present at the time of the service. The parent or guardian must present their State or Federally issued Photo Identification as well as a photocopy of the minor client's birth certificate, and a form of Photo Identification for the minor (School ID card, Passport, Library card with a Photo, and/or a school or yearbook photo that includes the minor's name WITH the photo). If last names differ, you MUST bring a marriage license/certificate to verify name change, along with a valid photo ID.
- For legal guardians and/or emancipated minor, we must have court paperwork proving so (legal, notarized document from the courts).
** Please Note- A FLDOH/Martin County Department of Health Minor Consent Form, linked below, must be completed and signed by a Notary Public**
For children's earlobes, we currently start at 5 years old. For any services besides earlobes, 14 years old is the minimum age we are able to pierce. See required age below for each piercing.
Any clients under the age of 18 are REQUIRED to have a parent or court appointed legal guardian present with all required documentation.
